Tech Rehearsals

Mike, Ben and I went to a great little restaurant called Tipton's for breakfast this morning. Two little tables, a row of 15 (or so) stools and great biscuits and gravy. They open at 11:45 PM and stay open all night and morning and close at 2:00 PM. Now, that's a breakfast place.

Tech rehearsals are underway. The Niswonger PAC is about 1100 seats and we're wearing mics today so we can see how they need to be set. We may not actually use them for the performances, but we play to some pretty large venues down the road and today is our only chance to experiment.

Tuesday's rehearsals

We're in the Niswonger PAC today in rehearsal. Mostly working on the set as the crew tries to get the stage, lights and sound ready for the tech rehearsal tomorrow. We're going to do a run-through this afternoon, at least until we have to stop at 6:30. Staying at the General Morgan Inn for the next three nights. I'll be posting some pictures a little later today.

Of Mice and Men Hits the Road

Barter's Of Mice and Men national tour hits the road Tuesday 9/22 driving to our first venue: The Niswonger Performing Arts Center in Greeneville, TN. Since it's our first venue (and since we've just been rehearsing since Friday) we'll rehearse in the center Tuesday, do our technical rehearsal on Wednesday and perform two shows on Thursday.
